In collaboration with Rebel Theatre School & Casting Agency, this summer workshop is the perfect place to develop your acting skills during the holidays. The Acting for TV Masterclass Workshop

It’s a three-day intensive masterclass with industry professionals in a film studio covering all aspects of acting for TV. Working in a purpose-built set with industry broadcast standard equipment this masterclass will culminate in a performance recorded by an elite crew and digital footage for you to keep. When

We have two Acting for TV Masterclass days to choose from. The actors can attend one or both to learn and practice their craft with trained casting and theatre coaches and facilitators leading the course each day. While both will have similar formats, booking both classes will provide additional practice for those looking to really boost their progress over the summer months. The three day dates available are:

• Masterclass 1 1 Aug - 3 Aug (Mon-Wed)

• Masterclass 2 30 Aug - 1 Sept (Tue-Thur)

Where

The masterclass will take place at The Treehouse studio, the home of Isaac Who. The Treehouse is an exceptional space for creatives and performers from all walks of life. With our huge studio area, its a great adaptable place for our masterclass format that needs lots of space to get our actors energised for the day ahead. The site location is The Treehouse, Unit 6, 2nd Floor, Heath House Mill, Heath House Lane, Golcar, Huddersfield, HD7 4JW

Time

The all-day workshops take place between 9 am and 3 pm across all three days. We also offer an early drop off from 8 am each day for a small fee, should you need it.

Price

The workshops, either masterclass 1 or masterclass 2, is £125, a bargain for three days of intensive education. But we also offer a package deal if you’d like to attend both sessions. With booking both masterclass 1 and masterclass 2, it is only £225! The early drop off fee is an additional £15 per masterclass.

Other Info

Places are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis by the return of the booking form and payment in full. Working in small age-based groups the masterclasses are suitable for those aged 9+. Each masterclass will follow the same format but with different content. A digital file of the final performance will be emailed via a link in the following week after the masterclass. Lunch and snacks need to be provided by parents/carers. A licenced registered chaperone, paediatric first aider & NNCEE member is on-site at all times. All staff hold current DBS checks.
