As a film production company, we understand how important it is to have the right space to put your creative ideas into practice, so we have opened our own space up to other creatives looking for a unique and cost-effective studio for hire. Film Studio for Hire
We offer the full studio set up for independent filmmakers and production companies. Our boutique studio offers a vast amount of space for filming and set building as well as a large green screen for producing virtual backgrounds where necessary. We can provide you with full control over lighting and sound, with additional equipment available if you need it. Isaac can provide additional cast and crew for your filming and The Treehouse comes with all the amenities needed for a smooth production.
Photography Studio for Hire
The Treehouse is the perfect space for photographers no matter their industry or requirements. Our infinity cove in our boutique studio allows you to produce the highest quality visuals with full control over lighting and design. The Treehouse is a one-off and there are plenty of amazing areas to shoot in both the building and the surrounding Colne Valley. Our set building space can be utilised by photographers looking to create something truly unique, while the additional amenities make operational setups a breeze.
Actor Showreel Recording space
All areas of The Treehouse can be hired individually so if you are just looking to utilise a particular area for a short film, showreel or self-tape we can help. You can hire the green screen area, stage area, set building space or sound booth, whatever you need to put your individual shoot together. We also offer equipment hire, additional cast or crew and full amenities for the time you work with us. If you’d like a bit more guidance, we also offer a full actor showreel service.

INFINITY COVE
Our Infinity Cove is a clean space with no horizon line. This creates the illusion that it goes on …… well to infinity and beyond. This allows photographers and filmmakers to get the perfect shot for their photoshoot. Our 250 square feet infinity cove creates a clear crisp image that makes your subject stand out. The production value of photos taken in an infinity cove can not be understated and will help your imagery pop, whether your photography is for product placement or a simple headshot.
OPTIONAL GREEN SCREEN
Our Green Screen hire can be utilised by filmmakers looking to add quality visuals to any scene they are shooting. Our 250 Square foot green screen infinity cove, is the perfect place to shoot a whole variety of film scenes, commercials and promo videos. Painted with specialist green screen paint with full light control for all productions, the green screen allows for a faultless basis for any production.
STUDIO SPACE
Our studio space measures 3,300 square feet allowing for a large number of cast and crew no matter the piece being produced. The Treehouse has ample amounts of natural light through our floor to ceiling windows and skylights, perfect for softer lighting requirements. Alternatively, The Treehouse allows for a complete blackout allowing you to utilise the full lighting rig to get the exact lighting set-up for your needs. We can provide additional equipment hire when required, from cameras to audio as well as cast and crew.
SET BUILDING
As part of our studio, we offer 2,100 square feet of set building space for filmmakers and photographers that need to create something spectacular. We’ve created the set building area with flexibility in mind, allowing set builders to utilise as much of the available space as possible and ensuring maximum creativity. The build space can be utilised for room sets, photography shoots, animation productions or anything else your imagination can conjure up.
EDITING SUITE AND SOUND BOOTH
We provide a video editing suite and post-production suite for use while producing in the studio or for individual hire. There is also a sound booth on site for voice-overs, dialogue recording or any other time you need clear crisp vocals. Our systems are suitable for any film formats and video projects. We are experienced editors so we can also provide additional guidance and technical assistance to streamline the post-production process.
WARDROBE, HAIR AND MAKEUP
A film and photo studio wouldn’t be complete if it didn’t have hair, makeup and wardrobe. We provide a wardrobe/dressing room which can be utilised for costume storage as well as a cloakroom. Our hair and makeup area that sits next to the dressing room has all the essential amenities your makeup artists and hairstylists need to create the perfect look.
AND ALL THE ESSENTIALS
Shoot days can be long and hard so we’ve tried to make The Treehouse as comfortable as possible to make everything run smoothly. There is full heating and air conditioning throughout the studio, kitchen facilities, toilets, shower and a green room for downtime in between scenes and shoots.
